教育背景

1, 1981--1985年南京大学天文系天体物理专业,获理学学士学位。
2, 1985--1988年获得南京大学天体物理学硕士学位,导师章振大教授。
出国学习工作
 1997--2001年在美国新罕布什尔(New Hampshire)大学获物理学博士学位,导师Terry G. Forbes教授。

1994年11月--1994年12月意大利Torino 大学物理研究所访问学者,研究太阳耀斑能量释放机制。 

1995年12月--1996年12月获得了香港王宽诚 (K. C. Wong) 奖(贷)学金的资助,在美国新罕布什尔州立大学(University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH, USA) 空间研究中心,在另一位国际太阳物理学界理论权威T. G. Forbes教授的指导下进行太阳爆发理论模型的研究。 

1997年7月--2001年6月在Forbes教授的帮助下转入新罕布什尔州立大学物理系博士研究生的学习和研究程序。2001年9月获得物理学博士学位 (PhD in Physics)。 

2001年7月—2005年3月,到哈佛-史密松天体物理中心 (Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics) 工作,在太阳和恒星部UVCS研究组从事空间资料研究。

工作经历

2005年4月—现在,科学院第三期创新工程云南天文台《太阳活动与CME理论研究》团组首席科学家。研究领域及兴趣:理论太阳物理,太阳爆发(太阳耀斑,爆发日珥,日冕物质抛射)过程中的等离子体和磁场特征,不稳定性,磁力线重联,解析模型。

专利与奖励

A, 1992年8月获中国天文学会青年优秀科技论文奖二等奖;
B, 1999年1月获教育部科学技术进步奖二等奖;
C, 2000年6月获美国天文学会太阳物理部奖学金奖
