     分别在华东地质学院、南京大学和兰州大学获学士、硕士和博士学位,随后在中国科学院地球环境研究所地质学博士后流动站工作,出站后留所,历任助研、副研和研究员,入选陕西省中青年科技创新领军人才。中国科学院大学博士生导师, 中国科学院第四纪科学与全球变化卓越创新中心研究员。主要从事新生代地质与环境变化等方面研究工作。近期主要开展中亚干旱区和黄土高原风尘堆积的年代学、黄土粉尘来源示踪、古环境变化的矿物记录和环境演变的研究。主持和参加国家自然科学基金、国家973项目、重点研发、中科院、中国博士后科学基金项目和国际合作等多项课题, 发表论文200余篇(SCI收录论文90余篇,第一作者/通讯作者SCI论文40余篇),论文他引2000余次,H指数为28。 曾获省部级奖2项。已培养研究生9名,其中3名研究生获国家奖学金。
